“The Dalton boys are coming home.
 Git yer guns, and let’s give ‘em a big welcomin’ committee.”

    For all that, to me it was a blur of galloping horses and blazing sixshooters in the dusty streets, and I would soon find it almost impossible to distinguish one film from the next. Rather, they all blended to become a single on-going experience, more like the serials only never-ending. In fact, it would emerge that of the several hundred films we saw on those Wednesday nights, only a handful would manage to stick in my mind and what caused them to stand out from the pack is impossible to say.
